Welcome to Oxford High School

Oxford Academy High School provides a safe, orderly and enabling environment for its students and staff.  The school is committed to supporting the needs of all learners by providing a well-balanced rigorous academic program enhanced by a variety of extra-curricular activities.

A priority is student success.  Current initiatives include improving reading and writing skills at the high school level. Teachers utilize a daily professional learning period to plan with other teachers.  The time is also used to provide support and extra help to students.

Over 85% of students are involved in extra curricular activities.  It is common for Oxford Academy students to earn honors at the state and national levels in art, music and athletics.  Our academic program has helped over 86% of seniors pursue post-graduation programs.

HOLIDAY MUSIC FILLS THE AIR The winter concerts concluded last night as the primary school students performed in front of an over-flow crowd in the OAPAA. Environmental Conservation Lessons The Village of Oxford joined with many towns across NYS and across the Nation in proclaiming a “Recycles” month in November to encourage responsible stewardship for our environment. The annual “Recycled Holiday Ornament Contest”, open to all Oxford Academy Primary School students, teaches our young children, environmental ... Food Drive The Oxford High School Honor Society will be running a food drive during the Winter sports and concert season to benefit the local food pantry. Non-perishable food donations will be accepted at all home events held in the high school gym and auditorium. Containers will be available to collect the donations.
