Fifteen to twenty students at the Middle School had the opportunity to participate in Spelling Bees at each grade level during the school day.   Six winners from each grade level were invited to participate in the qualifying round at the Middle School on February 12 at 6:30 pm.  Christian P., the winner from the Monday evening competition, will compete in a Regional Spelling Bee in Oneonta, NY on Saturday, March 3, 2018.  The winner of the Regional Spelling Bee will advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee on an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C.

 

Congratulations to the local contest winner, 7th grader, Christian P.  Christian will represent Oxford Middle School at the Regional Spelling Bee.
