Volunteers Needed
The Athletic Advisory Council was established to identify athletic issues and provide strategies for improving student participation at Oxford Academy.
The committee is calling for volunteers to be on sub-committees.
The sub-committees are:
= Finance Committee - whose major focus will be fundraising
= Recruitment/Retention Committee - which will make decisions on what to spend the raised funds on, ( i.e. swags, t-shirts, gear gags, etc.) to entice athletes to participate and remain with the program
= Recognition Committee - to shed light on athletic accomplishments, using assemblies, newsletters, OXAC webpage, etc., to transmit the news of our athletic program
Please attend their public meeting on Tuesday, June 12 at 6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria or contact Mr. John Godfrey at[email protected] if you are interested.
