RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:     Selected candidate will be responsible for providing general science education to students in grades 7-8 in accordance with New York State Common Core Standards.
SALARY/BENEFITS:                     Based on Oxford Teachers’ Association contract

Support Staff
Head Bus Driver
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:           12 Months
QUALIFICATIONS:                         
Graduation from a senior high school and two years of experience in the operation or repair of school buses; AND
  • Possess a CDL Class B or better issued by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles with a P&S endorsement for School Bus.
  • Must pass a Department of Motor Vehicles physical under Article 19A form DS-874.
  • Must pass a Department of Motor Vehicles written exam form DS 875Y.
  • Must pass a Department of Motor Vehicles road test form DS-875 administered by a 19-A certified examiner.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and receive fingerprint clearance.
  • Must pass the New York State Department of Education Physical Performance Test.
  • Must possess good knowledge of driving safety practices and traffic laws and regulations.
  • Must possess aptitude to understand and follow simple oral and written directions.
  • SBDI Certified by New York State Department of Education preferred or to be obtained at a later date.
  • 19-A Examiner Certified by New York State Department of Education preferred or to be obtained at a later date.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Civil Service test and rules apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:       Responsible for the efficient operation of the school transportation program. (Detailed duties are available on demand.)
