High School Art

In celebration of visual art, our High School student shine!

The High School Art Exhibition at Hartwick College this year featured Emma Hitt, Sylvia Meres and Sara Johnson from Oxford High School.

At The Chenango County Council of The Arts Annual High School Art Competition, Evelyn Emerson took Second Place for her Clay Bridal Mask and Payton McDermott won an Honorable Mention for her Clay Gingerbread House.

Sara Johnson applied for and won the Annual Lucy Funke Scholarship. This monetary award is given to a High School Student going to college for Art or Music after High School.

I could not be more proud of our student artists!

The Mirror Project
The drawing class decided on an animal they wanted to draw as a baby and as an adult.
We called it, "The Mirror Project."  The baby is looking in the mirror at her/his reflection as an adult.
Here are some of the finished renditions.  They are amazing!

OXFORD IS HAUNTED!

The Studio Art Two architects designed and constructed haunted structures for the Annual Haunted House Project.
Check out these amazing creations!
