Welcome!

Book love

"There are many ways to enlarge your child's world. Love of books is the best of all."
Jacqueline Kennedy
Former First Lady of the United States

“Libraries allow children to ask questions about the world and find the answers.  And the wonderful thing is that once a child learns to use a library, the doors to learning are always open.”
--Laura Bush, former First Lady of the United States

What's Happening!

Students have been working hard in the Library

Kindergarten and 1st grade students are continuing to learn about fiction and non-fiction books.

Students in 2nd grade have been writing and illustrating their own stories.

The 3rd and 4th grade are learning about genres and tasting many new types of books.

Students in UPK are now working on creating a book about things that we see in the fall
