Good Afternoon,

I hope you have been enjoying a nice pre-spring type weekend! This week's edition of our Blackhawk Bulletin is accompanied by our High School Newsletter for March with updates from our faculty. 

• Congratulations to Gordon Smith as he helped lead our Section IV relay team to a 9th place finish at the NYS Indoor Track and Field Championships this past weekend. We gave him a send off Friday morning and the relay team competed on Saturday at the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Facility.
• Congratulations to Peyton Cummings and Breanna Rogers on the selection their work for the Jericho Art Council Student Art Show in Bainbridge. The show opened this past Saturday an will run through March 21.
• 
• This coming weekend will be a long weekend for students as we have a conference day for faculty and staff on March 13 and there is no school on March 16.
• We have 15 weeks of the school year left, keep checking in on your teen's grades in SchoolTool. Message their teachers on ParentSquare if you have any questions.
• Spring sports are starting up this week and next for our high school students.

We have our annual 8th Grade High School Information Night tomorrow, Monday, March 9 at 6 PM in the middle school. We hope to see all parents/guardians and their 8th graders there.
