Science Club

Welcome to Science Club!

The science club meets on a weekly basis to carry out STEM discussions and activities with middle school students grades 5-8. These activities may range from space exploration, Lego education, coding, and working within a maker space. Our goal is to give students an avenue to be creative and learn within an interactive environment.

Walt Disney World Trip Letter

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The Oxford Middle School is planning a trip to Walt Disney World in Florida in late August of 2020. We will be taking a charter bus down the coast, spending six nights at Walt Disney World Resort, and spend one day returning up the coast, for a total of eight days. During this trip, we would all be participating in the Disney Youth Education Series (YES) program.

If you are interested in sending your student, or would just like more information we are having an informational meeting on Tuesday, November 19th at 6 PM in the Middle School Library.  If you have any questions feel free to contact either Uday Mukhlis ([email protected]) or Rebecca Rosas ([email protected]).

While we are working diligently to reduce the cost of this trip, through the writing of grants and numerous fundraising opportunities, our current estimate for the entire time from leaving Oxford to returning is $1800 per student. We would set up a monthly payment plan of $200 per month, which could decrease based on grants and fundraising.

Sincerely,

Uday Mukhlis & Rebecca Rosas
