My name is Robin Wonka-Dorman and I would like to introduce myself to you as the School Advisor at Oxford Primary School. I am entering my 2nd year in the Oxford Academy and Central School District and I am thrilled to be your Student Advisor! I am excited to continue to be part of the Oxford Primary School family as it is such a close-knit and welcoming community, which I feel very lucky to be a part of!
As a Student Advisor, I work with students, teachers, and parents in many ways through a program of many services. It includes a variety of services for ALL students and is designed to assist with interests and issues related to the stages of student growth in the areas of academic, career, personal, emotional, and social development. I will be meeting with students, conducting counseling lessons, meeting with parent(s)/guardian(s), collaborating with teachers and staff, and consulting with community organizations to benefit and meet the needs of ALL Oxford Primary School students.
We are fortunate to be continuing our connection with Chenango County Behavioral Health Services (CCBHS) to provide School Based Mental Health Services. This program reinforces our community’s commitment to supporting individual well-being. Attached to this email is a letter from CCBHS describing their services and access to an online screening survey. This survey is a brief emotional and behavioral tool that may help your child receive support if it might be needed. Please review the following attachment for a thorough explanation.
