Posted Date: 05/10/26 (09:53 AM)

Good Morning,

In our newsletter this week:

  • Regents Countdown updated

  • The Oxford High School Top Five Graduates

  • Students Appreciate Faculty & Staff

This is a reminder that school will dismiss at 11:45 AM this Friday, May 15. We will have afternoon classes and serve lunch. Students who attend PM BOCES should not come to school.

Also, this Thursday is Decision Day at the high school. Seniors should wear a t-shirt or sweatshirt that shows the college or trade school they will attend in the fall. They can also wear gear from the branch of the U.S. Armed Forces they have joined after graduation. Teachers and staff are also invited to wear clothing from the college, trade school, or armed forces branch they were part of after high school.

The Student Art Show is this Thursday from 4-6 PM.

The weather has greatly affected our sports schedules. Please check Schedule Galaxy, https://www.schedulegalaxy.com/schools/159, for the most recent updates.

Our daughter, Nicole Mackey, is a registered dietician at Stanford University Hospital. She is hosting a free workshop for runners that would benefit all high school student athletes. I have attached the flyer and here is the registration link if you are interested. High school students don't typically focus on their own nutrition and as we enter the stress of final and regents exams, it is important they start fueling themselves properly now to be at their best in a few weeks. I have attached a quick reference guide to help teens fuel for their exams!

Have a great Week!

Peace,
Mr. Mackey
