District Closure

Hello Oxford Community,
      This is a construction update to let you know that the Oxford Academy & Central School District will be closed on Thursday, August 13, due to several electrical upgrades associated with our ongoing capital project.
     These upgrades require NYSEG to shut off power to the Primary School/High School building. Because this impacts technology and other systems throughout the district, all district buildings and offices will be closed for the day. Power is expected to be restored over the weekend, with Monday, August 17, being the latest anticipated restoration date. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate everyone's continued patience and flexibility as we work through the final stages of these important improvements.
     As a side note, the scheduled Meet the Principal event will still take place on Thursday from 5:00–6:30 p.m. at the Primary School playground. Please take advantage of this opportunity to meet Ms. Jordan, spend some time together as a school community, and enjoy a sweet treat!
