Primary School and High School Principal Interview Committees
We are conducting Primary School Principal interviews the morning of July 30.  Looking for parents and community members to be part of the process.  If interested, please contact Michele Rice (607-843-2025, ext. 4040 or [email protected]) by Friday, July 26.  You must be able to attend the entire morning of interviews.  The timeframe is: starting around 7:45 am through noon at the Oxford Middle School.

By the end of fourth grade, students who are making adequate progress in math are able to:

4.1            Master multiplication and division basic facts up through 12’s

a.     We will measure by quizzes, daily work, and grades.

4.2            Master addition and subtraction basic facts up to 9+9 and 18-9

a.     We will measure by quizzes, daily work, and grades.

4.3            Master addition and subtraction

a.     Column addition up to 4 sets of 3 digits with trading (carrying)         

b.     Subtracting with positive numbers up to 5 digits with regrouping

c.      Both addition and subtraction with or without decimals

d.     We will measure by quizzes, daily work, and grades.

4.4            Master division with or without remainders

a.     Divide by 1-digit divisors

b.     Divide a number up to 4-digits by a 1-digit

c.      Divide with or without decimal dividends

d.     We will measure by quizzes, daily work, and grades.

4.5            Master benchmarks of fractions with the relationship of equivalent decimals

a.     ¼, ½, ¾, 1

b.     .25, .5, .75, 1.00

c.      We will measure by quizzes, daily work, and grades.
