Primary School and High School Principal Interview Committees
We are conducting Primary School Principal interviews the morning of July 30.  Looking for parents and community members to be part of the process.  If interested, please contact Michele Rice (607-843-2025, ext. 4040 or [email protected]) by Friday, July 26.  You must be able to attend the entire morning of interviews.  The timeframe is: starting around 7:45 am through noon at the Oxford Middle School.

By the end of seventh grade, students who are making adequate progress in math are able to:

7.1             Discriminate between relevant and irrelevant information in a problem.

7.2            Recognize prime and composite numbers 1 – 20.

7.3            Determine if a number is divisible by 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 using divisibility rules.

7.4            Solve multi-step order of operations problems with integers.

7.5             Locate and plot points on the coordinate plane.

7.6            Compare numbers in scientific notation.

7.7             Distinguish the difference between dependent and independent events.

                  7.8       Solve multi-step equations with one variable by isolating it.
